Kai Music and Arts Sponsorship Program Policy
Purpose:
The sponsorship program aims to provide access to high-quality music education for financially disadvantaged students by partnering with local businesses for scholarship funding.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students aged 6-18 years old are eligible.
Annual family income must be below $40,000 to qualify based on financial need.
Students must be residents of Butte County.
Students must maintain steady attendance in their sponsored music classes.
Sponsorship Guidelines:

Businesses can sponsor an infinite number of students at a rate of $200 per student, per month.

Sponsorship commitment is for a minimum of 6 months.

All sponsorship payments must be received by the 1st of the month.

Sponsors will receive benefits according to sponsorship tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum)
Scholarship Management:

Applications will be reviewed by Kai's scholarship committee and recipients selected based on eligibility criteria.

Kai will provide progress reports, recital videos and other updates to sponsors.

Student information will be kept confidential.

Shared details will be limited to first name, age and instrument.

Kai can terminate scholarship if a student violates code of conduct or eligibility terms.
Sponsor Recognition:

Sponsor names and logos will be displayed on the Kai Music website.

Social media recognition will be given proportionate to sponsorship tier.

Sponsors may provide branded items for student recital gift bags.

Kai reserves the right to reject sponsors not aligned with our mission.
Review & Feedback:
An annual survey will collect sponsorship feedback.
Policies and sponsorship tiers will be reviewed every 2 years.
Kai's Owners will approve any policy changes.
